I had the fried chicken leg quarters, collard greens, and mac & cheese, and every bite was on point. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and crispy, the collards were rich and flavorful, and the mac & cheese was pure comfort food done right. You can tell this is made with love. Well, today I did it, and I wish I was able to talk to the chef and explain how pleased I am with this food. THIS IS GOOD!!!! OMG, I definitely have found myself a new go-to food spot! I was visiting from out of state and had to give this place a try because of the awesome reviews, and let me tell you—I am so glad I did! The staff was really sweet and recommended the fried chicken and fried catfish—I've never had fried catfish, so that’s what I went with. The catfish was delicious! Very crispy!! I also ordered the mac and cheese and collard greens—overall the food was AMAZING! So flavorful, and it all went so well together; there were no leftovers. When in Madison, stop by Marie’s Soul Food!!!
